Oggi Terzo anniversario della morte di Steve Jobs: la lettera di Tim Cook

Con una lettera ai propri collaboratori, l'attuale CEO di Apple, Tim Cook, ha dedicato un pensiero speciale al proprio predecessore, Steve Jobs, scomparso il 5 Ottobre 2011, dopo una lunga battaglia con il cancro. Riflette sui tanti modi in cui il suo genio ha reso questo mondo un posto migliore, offrendo più opportunità, sia nell'apprendimento che nello sviluppo di progetti a livello professionale. E per i creativi ha offerto degli strumenti incredibili, in grado di dar forma con semplicità e immediatezza a tutte le proprie idee: "Ha offerto la cornice nella quale gli Artisti hanno potuto creare i propri capolavori".
I valori e gli ideali su cui Steve fondo' la Apple, sono ancora vivi e ben saldi tra coloro che dovranno ora portarla avanti, così come tanti dei suoi progetti, sono parte dei prodotti che ora la Apple continua a sviluppare.
Tim Cook dunque ringrazia i propri collaboratori e colleghi per il loro aiuto a mantener viva l'eredita' morale e professionale lasciata da Steve Jobs.

Sunday will mark the third anniversary of Steve’s passing. I’m sure that many of you will be thinking of him on that day, as I know I will.
I hope you’ll take a moment to appreciate the many ways Steve made our world better. Children learn in new ways thanks to the products he dreamed up. The most creative people on earth use them to compose symphonies and pop songs, and write everything from novels to poetry to text messages. Steve’s life’s work produced the canvas on which artists now create masterpieces.
Steve’s vision extended far beyond the years he was alive, and the values on which he built Apple will always be with us. Many of the ideas and projects we’re working on today got started after he died, but his influence on them — and on all of us — is unmistakeable.
